Yeats and Shakespeare
In this special year of Shakespeare 400, we are delighted once again to collaborate with the British Council to bring Professor Oliver Hennessey to Ireland from Alabama. Professor Hennessey is the author of the book Yeats, Shakespeare and Irish Nationalism and he will be speaking at The Model on Sunday morning at 11am on June 12. He will also speak in the National Library on Thursday June 9 at 1pm. To recognise the British Council’s kind sponsorship of the Shakespeare prize at Feis Ceoil this year, some of the students will reprise their performances after Professor Hennessey’s talk at The Model.
